Hi, I’m Mikkel,
a photographer, videographer and marketing manager based in Østerbro, Copenhagen.
My path into visual storytelling started in Poland, where I studied Film Studies at the University of Lodz. During my studies I did an internship at a news television station, where I learned how fast-paced production really works: real stories, tight deadlines and content that has to be ready on time. Alongside that, I worked at Studio Park in Warsaw, setting up lighting, backgrounds and studio sets for photo shoots.
I moved to Denmark almost five years ago. In Aarhus I ran my own photography studio specialising in business portraits, and since then I’ve photographed more than 300 restaurants and stores across Denmark for Wolt and Uber. I’ve also worked as an event photographer at venues such as the Danish Parliament, Royal Arena and Tivoli.
Today I work as Marketing Manager at Bindia, a takeaway chain with 9 locations in Copenhagen, where I plan, shoot, edit and publish content in both Danish and English. I also co-run Memo Collective, a wedding photography duo.
